Bio:

Lance Carlton Deandre Coleman (born March 2nd, 1991) , also known by the stage name Fuze The Mc, is an American hiphop artist, radio personality, philanthropist , and entrepreneur. He is an audio production student at the historically black institution Howard University on a full academic scholarship.

Growing up in a home where hiphop music was frowned upon. Fuze was forced to bury any lurking talents and aspirations under a veil of discontent with the musical art form and way of life. That was until he finally found the outlet and inspiration to spark his inner fire at the Atlanta A3C concert in 2008. He performed a short rap entitled “proof” for XXL freshman artist Blu and received well deserved praise from the west coast MC; So much so that the next day Blu himself sent him a beat via email, marking the Fuze’s spark in confidence and growth as an MC.  Growing up in the lower-middle class suburbs surrounded by ghettos gave Fuze a striking duality that is prevalent in his music. Waking up in the morning riding, with his single-mother to school listening to national public radio and Sam Cooke only to hear the likes of Lupe Fiasco, Jay-Z and T.I at school has shaped his music into something that can only be described as unique. One moment he could be placing hypnotic melodic rhyme scheme across the beat and effortlessly move into a twist mid-verse

Fuze the Mc first found his claim to fame on the internet with the release of his mix tape entitled Life Soul and Flesh in April of 2009. The Smyrna, GA native followed his April release up with the release of his project Hear We Go in August of that same year. In receiving over a hundred blog posts, 1,500 downloads  and 2,000 physical distributions Fuze the Mc had his sights set on the Howard University community. Making monumental waves as a freshman at the university, he went on to receive nominations for WHBC awards, open for artists such as J.Cole, Tanya Morgan, Kooley High, Rich Kids , and being chosen as one of the Hilltop’s Fresh Five act list. His efforts adjourned him cosigns from other respected artists such as KRS-One and Blu, Bryan Calhoun. Earning the respect of blogger across the internet his most recent project was released by DJBOOTH.NET entitled Stereo Typical Music with downloads totaling in over 5,000 and receiving rave review across the internet. What started as a distant dream in Georgia for the up and comer has developed into a career and life style.
